Q: How do you give all 4 supplements, can you give them all together. I've found lumps on my cocker spaniel chest and he's not happy when feel them, he's only 8 and I'm not ready to let go but very nervous of letting vets action any surgery or chemical type treatment. We go to vets Monday next week to see what they think . Do you think starting these will help him.
A:

All the 4 supplements can be given together in wet food, plain live yoghurt or something similar. We recommend however, introducing one at a time at 2 week intervals to allow the digestive tract to adapt at a comfortable pace to the change of diet.

Whenever lumps are present, Immunity is the best supplement to start with, as its ingredients support the normal anti-tumour activity of white blood cells. Ideally, half the daily amount should be given (divided between meals) for the first week Then, if the stools remain well-formed and health otherwise good, this can be increased to the full amount. For maximum immune system support, if the stools remain well-formed and health otherwise good, double this amount can be given going forward. This process can then be repeated with Vitality and then after 3 weeks with Digestion - as it was for Lexi and Pippa.

Q: I have very recently started using the digestive drops and I have come back to get some more and some other ranges but I am very confused as I can’t see any drops and the alternative products - I can’t tell are they powder or pills? My dogs are very fussy with both so I was hoping to get drops.

Hi Jane, all the remedies are in liquid form.

These are supplied in 50ml dropper bottles, so that a few drops can simply be added to food as directed.

The supplements are all powders, and are supplied in small and large tubs of the specified weight in grams. The appropriate amount can be mixed into any wet meals.

Q: Hi Vince. I’m wondering roughly how much of the “Joints” supplement would my dog require on a daily basis? She is an 8.5yo Australian Kelpie who is not overly active. She is stiff through her spine and RH (mainly). Also, do you have any suppliers in Australia, or can I only order direct from your website? Thanks. Renée

Hi Renée, roughly 1 teaspoon of Joints powder twice daily. A 400g tub would last approximately 7 weeks. Even better results when given with Joint Support remedy. Both can be bought as a bundle for a saving of £8 here. We don't have any suppliers in Australia, unfortunately. Shipping there might be prohibitively expensive, but we could get a quote if you email us at info@vincethevet.co.uk

  • DIRECTIONS

    Beginning with Digestion, add the suggested amount to the diet daily, divided between meals. 

    If a pet has sensitive bowels, it is better to give half the usual quantity or less to begin with, and then, after a week - if the stools remain well-formed and health otherwise good - increase to the full amount over a few days.

    After 7 days on the full amount of Digestion, if the stools remain well-formed and health otherwise good, give half the suggested amount of Vitality.

    If after 7 days, the stools remain well-formed and health otherwise good, increase to the full amount over a few days.

    This process can be repeated when introducing Immunity and Joints.
