    Hi Donna, yes it can, the two are complementary. Travel Anxiety also contains botanicals which help to alleviate motion related stomach upsets.

    Yes, it can be used just for any form of travel. For the best results start the day before, continue the day after, and give every 30 - 60 minutes throughout the journey.

    Q: I notice this product contains alcohol. Is this not harmful to the animal? As alcohol is a very toxic product for dogs, so I would like to know more, before offering this to my dog, who struggles on car journeys.
    A:
    The alcohol (which is organic, although not stated on the label) is a necessity as a preservative to ensure the product is sterile. 

    It makes up 25% of the remedy as listed under the ingredients. 

    The volume of the average drop of water is approximately 0.05ml (or 5 hundredths of a ml). 

    25% or 1/4 of this is alcohol which equals 0.0125 or just over a hundredth of a ml. 

    Added to drinking water as suggested this becomes even more minute - to the point of being undetectable. 

    Several drops added to a morsel of food typically supplies less than 2- 3 hundredths of a ml as the alcohol quickly evaporates. And so the amount of alcohol actually ingested, is miniscule, and of no consequence to pets at all, when used as directed.

    Q: Hi, I've purchased the Travel Anxiety remedy for my cat, Maine Coon, 11kg. He will be having a minor surgery next Tuesday and will be put under sedation. He also suffers from HCM stage B1, and gets very panicky when in the car to go to the vet (he's fine once he's there). I would like to know how many hours before the journey should I start administering the remedy, for it to have some effect during the car journey? Many thanks

    Hi Monica, it would be best to start giving the remedy the day before - 1 - 2 drops on a teaspoon of fresh food 3 times daily, and to continue until the day after the visit to the vets.

    Q: Hello my little Morkie has been using this remedy as she was very shaking and sick in the car - even short journeys The shaking is not quite so bad, but she still vomits up to 3 times on a 1 hours journey. Any suggestions?

    Start giving PEA daily too. This acts on the calming centres in the brain to reduce anxiety related behaviours / nausea. Note: it can take up to 12 weeks to reach peak effect for some dogs. For the best results continue to give the remedy and PEA alongside each other until the desired effect has been achieved. Do let us know how you get on.

    If kept in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and strong odours, the shelf life is around 3 years or more. Travel Anxiety is safe to use alongside any medication prescribed by your vet.

    Q: I have very recently started using the digestive drops and I have come back to get some more and some other ranges but I am very confused as I can’t see any drops and the alternative products - I can’t tell are they powder or pills? My dogs are very fussy with both so I was hoping to get drops.

    Hi Jane, all the remedies are in liquid form.

    These are supplied in 50ml dropper bottles, so that a few drops can simply be added to food as directed.

    The supplements are all powders, and are supplied in small and large tubs of the specified weight in grams. The appropriate amount can be mixed into any wet meals.

    • DIRECTIONS

      Give 2 - 3 drops on a teaspoon of fresh food hourly, or as often as necessary before, during and after a journey, to ease stress and restore calm. 

      Also add a little to drinking water, and sprinkle on bedding. 

      Continue for as long as necessary.

      As with all behavioural reconditioning, patience, reassurance and repetition are key for success.
