Q: What is the main ingredient in PEA to relieve itching as my dog is always on steroids for itching and sore paws. Thanks
A: Our PEA is 100% pure, natural, human food grade, micronised palmitoylethanolamide (a fatty acid amide) which is produced naturally by the body in response to inflammation, injury, pain and stress. Q: My elderly dog has a high white blood cell count but is currently very well in herself - weight ok, eating and drinking etc as normal. She’s currently also has stiff hips and is slowing down - what can you recommend please?
A: The best option for stiff joints is Ultimate Joint Support for the reasons explained here. With regards to the high white cell count, it is important that your vet investigate this, to determine the underlying cause so that the most appropriate treatment can be given. Supplementation with Immunity while tests are being caried out, to support the body's natural defence mechanisms, would be beneficial. I hope this helps, and do let us know how you get on.

Q: Hi use this. Is it ever going to be in powder form. So difficult to give half a capsule. You end up wasting it.
I presently open all capsules and put in bottle. But time consuming.
Probably return to powder for joints.
A: It is in powder form when tipped out of the capsules. The capsules are designed to protect the powder from airborne contamination, moisture etc so it remains as effective as possible. And for an 8kg dog it's fine to give the contents of one capsule daily.

A: The capsules can be given inside a piece of apple or any favourite treat. 3 capsules twice daily suits most ponies. Be sure to give PEA for at least 12 weeks before gauging any effect, as it can take this long to reach peak effect in some animals.
