Q: Hello. I see Vitality is suggested for cats with kidney issues. I just wanted to double check this is ok as it’s 60% protein and I know we should be watching protein levels. Looking forward to your reply. Sarah

Vitality has been shown to protect the kidneys against the ill-effects of oxidative stress caused by impaired blood flow though renal tissues - which is common in kidney disease. When small quantities are used as advised, as part of a diet designed to support healthy renal function for as long as possible, the protein content is fine.
