ANXIETY REMEDIES - MAKE LIFE EASY FOR YOU AND YOUR PET

These three remedies are highly effective for anxiety in different situations, and safe to use alongside any medication prescribed by vets.

1. Ultimate Anxiety Relief and Behaviour Improvement:

For general nervousness, settling into a new home, anxiety in unfamiliar situations and improving training outcomes.

2. Travel Anxiety:

For motion sensitive pets and those that find journeys stressful.

3. Thunder and Fireworks:

For pets sensitive to thunder, fireworks, loud noises and bangs.

DIRECTIONS:

Give 2 - 3 drops, 3 times daily on a teaspoon of fresh food (not kibble), such as milk, plain live yogurt, bone broth, wet dog food or similar.

Extra doses can be given at times of increased anxiety, or if a situation is likely to be especially stressful.

A little can also be sprinkled on bedding daily to increase a feeling of safety and security in the home environment.

GUIDELINES FOR BEST USE

The main challenge when helping an anxious and / or reactive dog, is reducing fight / flight arousal sufficiently, so that it doesn't block listening and learning, and the establishment of new, healthier patterns of behaviour.

These remedies significantly reduce stress reactions over time (typically 3 - 6 months, but may be longer if unwanted behaviours are severe or deeply ingrained - as is the case for many rescue animals).

The effect of each remedy is cumulative, and so it is best that whichever is chosen is continued, alongside positive reward based retraining, for as long as it takes for the goal in mind to be achieved.

Key here, is patience, perseverance and consistently rewarding the desired responses.
