Product Content Tab 2 - Vitality - Mood / Behaviour
The impact that nutrition can have, not only on physical health but also mood and behaviour, cannot be underestimated.
A diet deficient in certain amino acids, vitamins, minerals or trace elements for example, can negatively effect the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPA) and levels of balancing neurotransmitters in the brain and gut, resulting in an increase in stress hormones and the likelihood of problem behaviours.
A feeding regime rich in all the nutrients necessary for optimum nervous system function on the other hand, typically results in happier, less anxious or reactive pets, with an improved quality of life.
