PEA's ability to reduce inflammation in nerves (and other tissues) means it can provide invaluable natural support to the body, which aids recovery whenever there is damage caused to central (in the brain and spinal cord) or peripheral nerves as occurs with:
- Spinal trauma
- Intervertebral disc disease
- Spondylitis
- Chiari-like malformation and Syringomyelia
Pikey-boy's progress is a great example of this.
X-rays in August 2024 showed damage to his spine with pressure on the spinal cord. The cause was most likely to have been from repeated beatings before he turned up at Deborah's home 5 years ago after being dumped along with 30 other working dogs 6 kms away.
"Pikey-boy is still doing exceptional on PEA, Joints and Joint Support plus Recuperation remedy (all of these are in the Ultimate Joint Support bundle).
I have kept him on 2 x PEA twice a day.
He is still running around, chasing guinea fowl, and the top of his rear paws still don't scrape when he walks.
And no incontinence.
A few months ago I never thought it would he would still be with us to welcome in 2025. Thank you!"
Deborah
NOTE:
PEA can be given as a preventative measure whenever nerve injury is a possibility to limit the severity of signs should this occur.
